An interview with 4 time Trans Am Champion Tommy Kendall.  In a direction totally different then normal interviews with pro drivers Shaun and Tommy discuss sim racing.  How it has evolved over the years, its real use as a tool for real life drivers, and how it sizes up as a motorsport.  This interview happened during the CXC Simulations Open House Party on April 13th, 2013.

Test Drive in the CXC Motion Pro II simulator.  CXC began making these rigs years ago and since then they have seen many refinements.  This is their flagship model with all of the bells and whistles.  I ran this drive with a go pro so that you can get a sense of the motion.

We take a drive in the ultimate Champcar simulator.  This incredible sim was a custom built rig that CXC Simulations did for one of their customers.  It is a real Champcar full carbon chassis that has had sim equipment installed into it.  It has a servo motor wheel mounted to the same bulkhead mounts as the original wheel.  The real pedals of the Champcar have been converted to work in games.  It has tactile transducers within the chassis that you can really feel and hear, especially on shifting.  This is the best simulation experience that I have ever had.

Presenting our recap of the 2nd Annual March on Michigan event that took place on March 30th 2013 in iRacing. The NASCAR Chevy Silverado Trucks raced at the high banks of Michigan for 150 laps or 300 miles. More than 800 drivers raced in this event. Cristy Aranguiz hosts this show and checks in with Darin Gangi and Shaun Cole to see how they did in their splits.
