Shawn Purdy Joined the InsideSimRacing Team back in 2009, Developing The Website as a favor to his long time friends Darin Gangi and Shaun Cole. In 2010 Shawn has become an offical member of InsideSimRacing as the webmaster. You could say he is the nut and bolts person behind the scenes.

Shawn is also a avid sim-racer with many achievements. Currently Active in the iRacing Community, and a part of the very successful Orion Race Team.

Shawn Captured an impressive 4th overall in the 2010 iRacing Road Drivers World Championship, The top 50 of which are determined via the Pro Series where Shawn finished 3rd overall in 2009 to earn his spot in the World Championships. To Earn a Pro License one must be ranked in the top 350 drivers on iRacing. Than must finish in the top 20 in Points in the Pro Series to earn a World Championship License.

Shawn has a passion for motorsport and has been sim-racing for almost 15 years, and been driving since the age of 5.
