Sim Racing Button Box - DIY Project

A DIY project for your pleasure.  This project began over a year ago as a very inexpensive option to the purchased button boxes available.  However after a series of problems the project has changed direction for a more powerful and simpler option.  In the end it cost a little more money but still came in at half the price of retail.  In this video Cristy talks to Shaun about how he went about the project, the problems encountered, and how it turned out in the end.

Darin and Shaun check out this high end wheel and let you know the pros and cons of it. 
 
All the encoders work as well as the Ferrari Dial. Rev Lights, Warning Lights and full functional LCDs have been installed. The wheel has also been wrapped in carbon fiber.

An extra video from the iRace4life seminars in Dallas, Tx.  In March 2013 iRace4life put on these seminars and while there we had the chance to drive this incredible simrig.  This rig belongs to Randy Freeman who brought it to the show.  We got a chance to see what it is like.  This rig was one of many at the event this year.
