looks good, nice to see they are finally becoming a reality.

sure they will be very popular since they are competitively priced and seem to have a really cool original design not to mention the fact that it's aluminum as well, so easily movable

wonder if the SRT guys will test this one?

Darrin and Shawn - what about that rig under $1000 showdown?

perhaps, but most importantly with a wheel that is turned on with FB, also interesting to see what a 3rd party thinks (ie comfort, ease of use, stability, etc...)

EDIT - removed videos in quote

If you want people to take this seriously, you need to give one to isr to review. Those other vids you post have very little base in real life scenarios, I would say they do more harm then good IMO.

Get a professional review and your company looks more professional. These jumping round the room vids have the opposite effect to many potential customers, I would think.

Say now little jimmy says "dad I want one of these" , his dad looks on the net for some info and finds these vids. I can't see his next click being your site.

Now I'm not trying to say it's not great, I have not tried one so can not comment but what I would say is your letting yourself down on your promo and marketing.

Constructive criticism ;)

I paid for a Rinoseat GTR in October and still waiting. It looks like they are now shipping as I have been sent a photo of mine boxed (indeed mine is in the photo in the previous posts) but the post tracking number has yet to be activated.
To ensure customers are not scared away Rinoseat needs to give realistic estimates of shipping dates. Hopefully this will not be a problem now the product is finished and looks like it is shipping.

Hi CPA and welcome to the forum ;)

I was only reading a few of your posts on another sim forum tonight. Even the net is small at times :D

Hi CPA

Please let us know when you have got your GTR Rinoseat !

I'm kinda tired of my old Game Racer seat and I would like to have a much more stable rig plus the center pole is in the way!

The Rinoseat GTR seems to fulfill all my requirements on a SIM Rig

Maybe a short review ! That would be nice ;)

They (Rinoseat) are letting ISR Review it soon according to Renato at Rinoseat ! :D

he is still waiting for his seat :( he was mentionning it today on GT Planet

it's a bit baffling why it is taking so long to ship tbh. i hate being told something that is wrong. anyone can make mistakes, things can happen ofc, but when you keep hearing the same song over and over again then it seriously rubs my feathers the wrong way. I'd rather spend more for honest and realistic service than the used car salesman approach of broken promises. that is why, in the end, i decided to go for a gamepod for added peace of mind.

anyway nice to see that CPA is still hanging in there, as I am sure this will be a great product once he receives it

Darin -Hope you'll get a call from Renato at Rinoseat soon then !
One thing I wonder about it is if there is lumbar support and if it is really firm (Like a real seat) so I can sit for long periodes without getting uncomfortable ! Im sure you are going to do a good review once you get it ;)

Test passed!

Last night I moved the monitor to our dining table. I even put white towel on the table with the wheel touching it to "amplify" wheel movement if there are any. I had to make the video with my Logitech webcam because handycam requires firewire which I dont have on my current setup. It would take another day to transfer it to computer.

The test was made with GTR2, NGT class - TVR 400 on Imola track. Forcefeedback settings are:
- effects: High
- strength: 90%

Video 1:

Video 2:

First video shows approx 2 laps around the track. I wasnt very gentle with the throttle to cause oversteering and wheel actions. Also, I tried to use curbs whenever I could to maximize vibrations. It is easier to look at the towel movements because whell seems rock solid.

Second is video shows me shaking wheel stand with both my hands and all my strength. Yes, it moved but at that moment whole rig has moved because I moved my whole body.

...
here is the first review from France: http://www.rinoseats...seatGTR2011.pdf

i received many emails with questions regarding the bucket seat in rinoseat
so, here is the answer

- the seat in Rinoseat GTR is hardcore looking bucket seat with increased comfort and size with a little changed shape of this seat:
http://www.recaro.com/en/product-areas/ ... n-fia.html
- strong support for the shoulder and a big decline seat back, release the power in back and pushing the driver hands on the steering wheel (both together eliminates back pain), it gives you a sense of security and balance, a sense of real car racing
- i spent many days in looking for properly position of C style seating
- experimenting, i got unique feeling of sitting: "feel the race"
- seat cover is made of a material that "breathes", so there is no sweating

Darin - Please, test this (orange edition)

I think it looks very promising M5, i liked the simple desgin from the start, it looks lightweight and seems sturdy too. If it is in the affordalble price range ie bit more than a good stand but a bit less than your budget like obutto i think you will sell alot of them, even to someone that has maybe a room with their main rig but maybe a rinoseat could be handy elsewhere too. Would love to see it on ISR.

Good luck with it.

The only thing that I'm concerned about is the adjust-ability of the pedals !

I want to have the wheel close to me and the pedals further away from the wheel ! (I have long legs just like Darin  )

I'm eagerly awaiting that review ! :D

Please check how it handle strong Force Feedback !

I want to upgrade to a really stable Cockpit because my recent GameRacer Pro is wobbling way to much when I play RBR !

If you have not seen my GTPlanet post it arrived the other day. Have put it together and even a mod to put all wires in the tubing. Just need to mod to bolt the buttkicker advance under the seat and we are done.......until the new pedal mount is available.
